
Co-Funding “The Girls Room Club”
As a creative, I believe in the importance of the constant learning and co-creation.
I believe in collectivity and the power of it. So with three ad-friends, we decided to launch
“The Girls Room Club”, a creative networking space held once a month in Mexico City
for women and non-binary people in the ad industry to connect over brunch.
Why TGRC?
It was born from the insight that in girls room toilets, us girls,
can become best friends in minutes. We laugh, shout, and tell us how valuable we are.
I thought, it was time for pur industry to have this.
Our Brunches
We figured: Who doesn’t like brunches?
Since March 8th 2024, we’ve held over 15 brunches.
Each one of the with different themes since how to apply to Next Creative Leaders The One Club,
See It Be It Latam, See It Be It Global, how to ask for a raise, work-life balance, and more.
Met approximately 100 women, which many of them come back.
70 of them active in our group chat.
Results
As we don’t have concrete results as a video case, girls who had come to the club
had told us that our brunches have helped them to:
change jobs, ask for a raise or promotions,
encounraged to apply to programs, win those programs, to inspire them,
set boundaries, to clear their minds how to get where they want, and inbetween others.
